This was announced by Mexico’s Ministry of Tourism, which stated that the country will bring together the largest representation of states from the nation, with a prominent display of the country's tourism offerings. This will "provide the opportunity to promote the cultural, heritage, and gastronomic richness of the country's 32 entities to more than 150 countries attending FITUR, as well as to operators in the global tourism sector."

In addition, regarding the role of the Fair’s Partner Country, Mexico’s Ministry of Tourism has conveyed to IFEMA MADRID its interest in holding the position of FITUR Partner Country in 2026. This special collaboration would enhance Mexico’s international projection as a preferred destination, encouraging more visitors to the country, as well as reinforcing its position as a global tourism power, thanks to the impact and global influence that the FITUR International Tourism Trade Fair wields.

FITUR 2025 is expected to set a new record with the participation of more than 900 companies from 152 countries, 153,000 visitors—of which more than 50% are professionals from the sector—and over 6,000 specialized media outlets from around the world.
