11.03.2020 14:50 |
Venture onto a glass floor—if you dare—and stare 100 stories straight down to the New York City streets below your feet. This is Edge, Manhattan’s newest observation deck and the highest outdoor sky deck in the Western Hemisphere. Located at Hudson Yards, a new $20 billion shopping, dining and entertainment complex on Manhattan’s far west side, Edge is also the newest site to join the New York CityPASS® C3 bundled attractions ticket.
Designed for shorter-stay and weekend visitors to the Big Apple, the New York CityPASS C3 ticket allows discounted, prepaid admission to any three marquee attractions from a list of 12 options, including:
For travelers who opt to visit Edge, their adventure begins with an immersive multi-media experience and then a trip 1,100 feet (335 meters) into the air. From Edge’s unique vantage point on the extreme western side of Manhattan, guests can see the entire New York skyline. The outdoor deck, which juts 80 feet (24.3 meters) straight out into the air, tempts the most adventurous. Its frameless glass panels are boldly angled outward, allowing the sweaty-palmed thrill of leaning out over the city. Once guests have taken in their share of the stunning 360-degree skyline vistas, they can step out onto the glass floor for a dramatic view straight down to the street.
New York CityPASS C3 ticket holders do not need to book their Edge visit in advance. They simply show their C3 ticket upon arrival at Edge and proceed directly to the turnstile to enter.
