Hosted by Christopher Sieber, Broadway veteran and star of the upcoming new musical comedy The Prom, the unique experience  shared the true essence of Broadway with attendees from across the globe for the seventh year in a row.

"NYC Center Stage" will again welcome more than 6,000 global, travel industry members, including upwards of 500 domestic and international media attendees. Entertainment includes numbers from Dear Evan Hansen, Come From Away, The Phantom of the Opera, Wicked, and Escape to Margaritaville.

"We are pleased to give our IPW partners a glimpse at a few exceptional Broadway musicals for the seventh consecutive year at our 'NYC Center Stage' luncheon. This one-of-a-kind experience resonates with audiences from around the world, who are such integral members of the Broadway community," said Bob Hoffman, Vice President of Broadway Inbound.

“Broadway is a must-do on any and every New York City itinerary, and it’s a pleasure to bring a taste of that magic to IPW and show this key travel audience just what’s in store during their next visit to NYC,” said Fred Dixon, NYC & Company President and CEO.

Opening the luncheon was Come From Away, the hit musical that has mesmerized multigenerational and multicultural audiences with its timeless story of hope and optimism following the events of September 11, 2001. Attendees will be swept away by the company's performances of "Welcome to the Rock," Me and the Sky" and "Screech In," as well as an appearance by Beverley Bass, American Airlines' first female captain and one of the pilots who landed in Gander on 9/11.

Wicked, celebrating 15 years on Broadway this October, performs second. An inspiring tale of friendship, Wicked brings audiences of all ages and backgrounds together night after night at the Gershwin Theatre. Back for another IPW performance, the cast will be performing lively renditions of "Popular" and "The Wizard and I."

One of the newest additions to the Broadway stage, Escape to Margaritaville follows with three numbers from the show. The cast from the musical comedy getaway featuring both original songs and various Jimmy Buffett classics will perform "Volcano," "Son of a Sailor" and "Coast of Marseilles."

Cast members of the six-time Tony Award-winner Dear Evan Hansen take the stage next. The evocative and contemporary musical, which has made an impact on multigenerational audiences from across the globe, will showcase moving performances of "Waving Through a Window" and "You Will Be Found," with members of the cast accompanied by a choir.

The luncheon comes to a close with The Phantom of the Opera, the longest-running show in Broadway history. The musical, which just celebrated 30 years on Broadway in January, will awe luncheon attendees with show-stopping performances of "The Music of the Night" and "The Phantom of the Opera," as it has done with audiences at the Majestic Theatre since 1988.
